Veggie Lo Mein and Green Curry were excellent. This place was the only place were I could get a decent vegan-friendly meal anywhere near Deadwood. The employee was very patient with me as I asked 101 questions about the vegan-friendliness of certain dishes. When she didn't know an answer, she'd go and find out for me. I opted for the following...
GREEN CURRY - with veggies; no meat. Spice level "spicy." It was delicious! I didn't even need the rice. It was a very flavorful curry, the portion was large, and it was actually spicy. Finally!
VEGGIE LO MEIN - I don't recall what type of noodles she said that they use, but it wasn't egg noodles. This dish was also booming with flavor, right down to the veggies. Large portion of this too!
If you find yourself in Deadwood or Sturgis and you're looking for some good food, mosey on down to Shanghai Garden, where the seeds of scrumptiousness have been sowed. -

Only place for Chinese. During bike week they have a Buffett special, I really how people think this place is good for Chinese food. It's bland, rice was soggy, I wouldn't come here again. Rather go to Walmart and make my own Chinese food. Lol. But, this is my opinion

When it comes to Chinese food, I have what I regularly get and at Shanghai Garden they do not disappoint! When I am at home, I order from there at least once a week. I usually order take out or delivery cause that's my deal, so I can't attest to service while eating there, but they are always courteous and the food is fantastic.

First visit, ordered fried shrimp which was good. We had shrimp pudding thai and moo goo gai pan. Enjoyed it actually.

Awesome !!! I got pineapple curry and fried rice and spring rolls, shared them with my mom!! We got soooo much food , we're still working through it..!! Tastes sooo good , just a little hint of kick !!
